10th Chingford Scout Group

Who

The 10th Chingford Scout Group includes Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

We’re a fun-loving, active outdoors group. We welcome all boys and girls aged 6 to 14 from any background.

Where

Down the road from Yardley Primary School, our Hall backs on to Epping Forest and we also have our own enclosed outdoor space for activities and games.

When

All year round, including school holidays.

Beavers: Mondays 5.30 – 6.45pm

Cubs: Mondays 7.00 – 8.30pm

Scouts: Fridays 8.00 – 10.00pm

Leaders

We are lucky to have some very experienced scout leaders and the assistance of various other helpers of all ages. Some are ex-10th Chingford scouts themselves and their practical help and enthusiasm has helped to make our group one of the most popular in the area.

Help

All Scout Leaders are unpaid volunteers so parents’ help and involvement is always welcomed and encouraged. There are so many ways you can support us and we’re able to provide a much richer programme when you do.

All leaders and helpers must have a current enhanced DBS (CRB) certificate. We can apply for this at no cost to you.
